CAR CRASHES ON TO FOOTPATH. By Telegraph— Press’ Assn. —Copyright. Rec. S) p.m. Sydney, Aug. 12. John Lock, aged 48, a blacksmith, died to-day. He was the second victim of an accident at Paddington on Sunday, when the New Zealand jockey Voitre was injured. A motor-car containing Frederick Guy, Keith Lock and Keith Voitre dashed on to a footpath at Paddington and killed Frank Hall, aged 35, a hairdresser who was pinned against a shop and was dreadfully crushed, oitre had a broken nose, and with Lock was sent to hospital, but Guy was not injured. Guy was airested and charged with manslaughter and reckless driving.
