COLD IMPROVING WEATHER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy and misty with rain in most districts. It will become fine in Westland and later conditions will improve gradually generally. Temperatures are becoming cold. A moderate depression has been crossing the Dominion to-day with its centre in the north. Pressure is, rising over eastern Australia. There “will be westerly winds backing to southerly in the far north and elsewhere south-easterly to southerly moderate but freshening generally. Seas will become rough south of East Cape and about Cook Strait and will be moderate elsewhere.
