A ixunjber of vessels are sheltering along. tlie coast. The Tahiti, from Wellington, which was two days late, encountered very heavy seas. A wireless message from the Maunganui, en route from Auckland to Sydney, stated that she was battling with a strong south-westerly and that her arrival would be delayed until the afternoon.
