WET, COLD WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be dull and misty with general rain and many heavy falls in the North Island and parts of Nelson and Marlborough. There will be some flooding and thunder in places and snow is probable later. Temperatures will become very cold. Winds will be strong to gale force generally, with westerlies in the far north and elsewhere, mainly northerlies over the North Island, but backing to southerlies within about 12 to 1(5 hours. Easterly winds veering to southerly are likely over the South Island. Seas will Income heavy on all the east coast and rough elsewhere.
