DARING WOMAN SPEEDSTER

INTERNATIONAL MOTOR TESTS. WILD RIDE ON ALPINE ROADS. By xeicgrapn Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Aug. 3. A Grenoble message states that Misfl Marjorie Cottel, dashing daringly through alpine tunnels and holding a pocket torch in her teeth, having lost her headlight in a collision with a runaway motor-car careering backward down a mountain pass, completed the international motor-cycle test, not losing a mark, and won the highest award, the gold medal. An Italian trio of men, ndino- magnificently, completed over 1000 miles on alpine roads in the scheduled time and won the international trophy. Britain, France, and Belgium each lost a member of their teams.
