AMERICAN TARIFF CHANGE. By Telegraph-’—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.30 p.m. . Washington, Aug. 1. The Treasury Department has announced that owing, to lack of conclusive proof of alleged convict labour it has been decided to lift the ban on Russian, pulp wood which was previously barred by the new tariff.
