AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the general committee of- the Taranaki Agricultural Society was held yesterday. Mr. J. H. Allen presided over a good attendance. Resolutions of sympathy were passed with the president (Mr. H. C. Sampson) and Mr. G. W. Browno in their illness and with the relatives of the late Mr. E. Cole. Messrs. Sampson, Gudopp, Allen, Grant, Nolan, Pigott and Moore were reappointed a ring competitions committee for the next stock show to be held on Marell 4 and 5. It was decided to ask pedigree cattle clubs in the district to submit recommendations for the improvement of their respective sections and the names of suitable judges. Mr. P. J. Petersen was added to the Katere block committee. Sub-committees were appointed to revise the schedule for tho next stock show.
