' . AT WAIPUKURAU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waipukurau, Aug. 1. A settops accident befell Mr. Alfred William Parsons, Waipukurau, when he was hunting ' with the Hawke’s Bay Club at Tikokino. Mr. Parsons was riding the champion horse Comet, and at the double fence the horse took off too soon, landing on the top of the fence and then falling heavily. Mr. Parsons was thrown, sustaining fractured ribs, concussion and severe shock. The horse was badly injured and may have to /e destroyed.
