London, July 30. -Replying to Mr. Winston Churchill’s vigorous criticism of the Government’s policy in Egypt .Mr. Ramsay MacDonald in the House of Commons last night said recent events in Egypt arose entirely from domestic circumstances. Warships were sent in fulfilment of Britain's obligations to protect foreign life and property. It was now found possible to recall the warships, which left to-day. Egypt was free to govern itself within the limits of Britain’s four reservations. As soon as Egypt was prepared to agree to Britain’s one outstanding point Britain was ready to give effect to the treaty.
