MAN ADMITS THEFT OF £6OO
LEGAL FIRM LOST CASHBOX.

Wellington, July 16.
Pleading guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day Frederick Murray, aged 33, a plasterer, arrested at Auckland on a charge of theft of a cashbox containing cheques, money orders, postal notes and Government bonds to the total value of £669 16s sd, the property of Levi and Jackson, a Wellington legal firm, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
