Gisborne, Last Night.
Members of the British Rugby team to-day were guests at an exciting steerriding competition. During these con-’ tests four competitors were injured, three being admitted to the Cook Hospital within 15 minutes. Gerald Parker, aged 24, was injured on the forehead; Edmond Power, aged 25, had serious stomach injuries; Stanley Higgins, aged 19, suffered a fractured arm and a dislocated elbow.
