HOCKEY MANAGEMENT

NORDEN CUP FIXTURE. A meeting of the management committee of the Taranaki Hockey Association was held at Eltham on Monday, when a letter was received from the Wanganui Hockey Association asking that a junior representative team visit Wanganui. After discussion it was decided to let the matter remain in abeyance. The final match of the season between Kaponga and Otakeho, the two leading teams, will be held at Hawera to-mor-row. The secretary was instructed to write to the New Zealand Hqckey Association asking that if the Nordon Cup match is to be played at Wanganui will the date be fixed for July 26.

The junior fixtures were extended to three rounds, the final round to commence to-day and to be the same draw as the first round.
