WANGANUI BEATS DANNEVIBKE

Dannevirke, Last Night
The first challenge hockey mr.eh .of the season for tho Norden Cup, held by Daninu irke, was played here this afternoon between the holders and Wanganui. It resulted in a win for tho visitors by 2 goals to 1 after a keen, fast game. Wanganui was superior on the afternoon’s play. V. Latham and J. Tizard scored for the winners and J. Smith for the losers. Dannevirke has held the trophy for three yers.
