.A herd of 33 pedigree Jerseys, owned by Mr. J. Bones, of Ohaupo, Waikato, averaged 444.451 b. butter-fat per cow this season. Another notable performance was that of a herd of 07 grade and pedigree Jerseys, the property of Mr. G. S. B. Morrison, of Maungataperc, Whangarei, which yielded an average of 4241 b. butter-fat this season.
