The following Rugby players have been selected to represent Nelson, Marlborough, Golden Bay and Motueka against the Englishmen at Blenheim on August 12:— Full-back: Cameron (Marlborough). LATER STAGES OF TOUR. It is understood a cablegram has been sent from the British Rugby team in New Zealand to A. T. Young in India asking him to join the team as scrum half in place of W. H. Sobey and T. 1. Murray, •’■'’th of whom have been injured so badly that neither is likely to take the field again on the tour. Youmr was originally chosen for the present°tour, but had to refuse the invitation owing to difficulty in obtaining leave. After the final selection had been made Young, it is understood, ascertained that the difficulty in regard to leave would be removed and he was willing to make the tour. It was then too late. Young .is now serving with the army in India. He played for England against the All Blacks on their 1924 tour. , Unless he travelled from India to Autsralia by air Young could not arrive in Sydney before the end of July. This would include the saving of several days by flyin" from Fremantle to Sydney. The Mooltan, which leaves Bombay on July 18, is the earliest boat by which he could travel. It arrives at Sydney on August 7, two days before the fourth New Zealand test. Young would not be able to reach New Zealand in time for the fourth test unless he saved several days by flying from Fremantle to Sydney. There is the Australian tour to be considered. The British team is scheduled to arrive in Sydney on Aimust 19, and its first match is on August 23. The tour finishes on September 13.
