FAITH OF THE GEOLOGISTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, July 8. The geological adviser, Dr. Woolnouvh, who is vifißmg the United States, has forwarded, a report to the Prime Minister, Mr. J. H. Scullin,, saying: “Without exception the geologists with whom I have diseufised the question arc more favourably impressed with the ultimate prospectfl of oil discovery in Australia than I have ever dared to be. All that is necessary is patience and money. J described the conditions in Australia and that is their answer. The dimensions of the off leases, they add, must be at least 640 acres.”
