MOVE BY THE MANUFACTURERS. By TclearaN].—Preus Association. Wellington, Last Night. In view of the success that has attended the introduction of a national trade mark in New Zealand, Canada and other countries, also in view of the increasing demand by the public for goods produced in the Dominion, the Manufacturers’ Federation to-day decided to move in the direction of obtaining the necessary regulations governing the use of a national trade mark and Jto institute a designs competition, offering one prize of £l5 and two of £5. The federation hopes to have a Dominion trade mark in general use next year.
