WAITARA FLOWER SHOW
METHODISTS* MANAGEMENT. The annual meeting of the Methodist spring flower show committee was held on Tuesday, when it was decided to hold the next show on September 11 and 12 at the Clifton Hall. The following officers were elected: Patron, the Hon. S. G. Smith; president, the Rev. R. McGregor; seven vice-pre-sidents; a committee of 62; secretary, Mr. R. H. Lawrence; assistant secretary, Mii:>s E. Fraser; executive. Mr. McGregor, Mrs. McGregor, Miss E, Fraser, Messrs. R. H. Lawrence and A. L. Wilson. The Rev. W. W. Avery was elected a life member. Mr. Avery inaugurated the show. A Rev. Avery daffodil competition is to be permanently included in the schedule;
