LORRY RUNS DOWN CYCLISTS

[ Hamilton, Last Night, Two cyclists were injured and one lies in a serious condition in hospital as the result of being knocked down by a motor-lorry on the Hamilton-Ngarua-wahia road near Forest Lake crossing at 5.15 this evening. Reginald William Bennett, 32 years of age, solicitor, Ham-, ilton, and Leslie G. Marquand, clerk, Dalgety and Co., Hamilton, were, riding bicycles home up. a rise after crossing the No. 1 bridge when a lorry driven by Ronald Noel Brown, Horotiu, elling in the direction of Te Rapa, over* took them, knocking both down. Both cyclists sustained scalp wounds, extensive bruises, abrasions and shock.
