AUCKLAND MAN ADMITS GUILT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 14. John Cornwall, a motor driver, aged 28, pleaded guilty to stealing goods valued at £49, the property of the New Zealand railways, and other goods valued at £5O, the property of an unknown person, and a gramophone valued at £l3. The magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, imposed sentences totalling 12 months. He said the offences were very serious. The thefts had been going on steadily for three years.
