A message from Philadelphia states that Ernie Schaaf (Boston), 14st 41b, won a ten rounds decision from Tommy Loughran, 13st 71b, convincing the onlookers that Loughran is about finished as a heavyweight contender. The loser gave a game battle but his youngei opponent was too swift for him . and ended fresh while Tommy’s condition was poor. At New York Jack Berg (Britain) tok a ten rounds decision from Herman Perlick, Kalamazoo, Milchigian. Th® fight was fast and spectacular throughout.
