DIFFICULTIES OF TAXIS
FAILURE OF CONFERENCE. • By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. A conference between Mr. W. Hayward, manager of Rink Taxis, and the Canterbury Drivers’ Union, which the Court recommended as a possible moans of getting over the present difficulties in the taxi business owing to the introduction of hire and share schemes, ended without result and the whole matter is now left to the Court.
