“ART UNIONS TOO COMMON”

WELLINGTON WOMEN'S PROTEST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, June 10. The Women’s Social Progress Movement has forwarded the following resolution to Mr. G. W. Forbes: “We have noticed that since the present Government came into power, art unions have become more common in the Dominion, and we wish to protest emphatically against this re-introduction and to urge upon you the advisability of refusing all further permits. We do this in the interests of the young people of the Dominion. They should have industry, and not chance, as their incentive to success.”
