TWO MEN FATALLY INJURED ATTEMPT TO LOWER RECORD CRASH INTO EMBANKMENT By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 1.20 a.m. Sydney, June 9. Two racing motorists, Reginald Brearley and Albert Elliott, when attempting to lower the time record between Sydney and Melbourne, crashed into a roadside embankment near Gunning. The car somersaulted several times and both men were killed.
