THE SALVATION ARMY.

Commissioner John Cunningham, Territorial Commander of the >Salvation Army for New Zealand, will conduct special services in New Plymouth at 11 a.in., 3 and 7 p.m. to-morrow. The commissioner will be assisted in all services by Mrs. Cunningham, Brigadier Scotney and Major and Mrs. Beatty. At 3 p.m. the commissioner will deliver a thrilling lecture on “Darkest England,” a scheme as applied to the world’s social problems of to-day. The commissioner is a much travelled man with an immense amount of information, at his disposal, and this lecture will live in the mempry of all who hear it. The Mayor .of New Plymouth, Mr. IL Victor Griffiths, will preside. One should not miss the unique opportunity of hearing this splendid lecture..
