MAIN HIGHWAYS POLICY
NORTH AUCKLAND OPINIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whangarci, Juno 6. The conference of county councils of the North Auckland district passed a resolution that the time had arrived when the future total cost of construction and maintenance of all highways should be provided out of the funds of the Main Highways Board, also where loans had been raised for county roads which bgd now been declared main hightho interest and sinking Tupd should be met by the Main Highways Board to tho extent of 75 per cent.
