COLD, FAIR WEATHER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be mainly cold and fair. A weak anti-cyclone is still situated east of the South Island, A shallow cyclone is centred west of Cape Maria Van Diemen. There will be moderate to strong easterly winds north of Greymouth and Kaikoura, and light to moderate northerlies elsewhere. Later winds will become variable. Seas will be rough north of East Cape and rather rough about Cook Strait, but.moderate elsewhere. The weather will bo still unsettled north of Auckland with scattered rain and some showers also between Castlepoint and East Cape. Elsewhere it will be mainly fair with cold temperatures and many frosts in the South Island.
