Bavin, is endeavouring to arrange with the Federal Government to establish winter camps for workless in country centres and asks that military tents and blankets be made available. In anticipation of Federal acquiescence the State authorities have been instructed to proceed with the preparations. Mr. Bavin opposes the formation of unemployeds’ camps in metropolitan areas.
