INTIMIDATION OF MEMBERS. By Telegraph—-Press Assn.— Copyright. Canberra, May 15. Threats of physical violence and bombs, contained in anonymous letters written to a member of the Opposition, caused a stir in the Senate. Sir George Pearce, loader of the Opposition, while speaking on the waterside dispute concerning the pick-up places, mentioned that such threats had been made to a certain memberxof the Opposition, who was solemnly warned not to interfere with the unionists plans. Sir George Pearce added that members of the Opposition, however, were not going to be deterred doing what they regarded as a public duty.
