ANZAC DAY ABOLITION
RESULT OF COLLEGE DEBATE.

After a spirited public debate at Victoria College on "Saturday evening a motion that the observance of Anzac Day should be discontinued was carried by an overwhelming majority. Many speakers took -part in the discussion, and many of the outside public were present. Two votes were taken, ono of the whole "hd'dicnce, and one of members of the society, and in both the result was the saihe,^. ' .
