Full-back.—Thompson (Taihape). ■ Three-quarters.—Tilley and Ambrose (Wanganui), Prince (Taihape). Five-eighths.—Gibbons (Wanganui, captain), McLennan (Taihape). Half.—Duncan (Wanganui). Wing-forward.—Walden (Hunterville). Hookers, — Lumsden (Rangitjkei), Lowry (Taihape), Lock. —Oxley (Wainuiarua). Sides. —L. Stewart (Wanganui), Heise (Mangaweka). Back row,—G. Lockett (Wanganui), Leahy (Taihape). The three extra players are J. Morgan (Wanganui) . and Graham (Taihape), backs, and Ward (Wanganui), forward. The team will assemble on May 19 and will be coached by Mark Nicholls and Andy Mercer. Dr. G. J. Adams, president of the New Zealand Rugby Union, leaves here on Tuesday to meet the British team, which is to arrive at Wellington on Wednesday-. The programme is ..to ep.me to Wanganui on Friday, attend the winter race meeting on Saturday, go a trip up the river on Tuesday and play on Wednesday. The team will leave for New Plymouth on Thursday, May 22. Indications are that the largest crowd the city has known at football will be here for the match. Public interest has never been so keen.
