WORLD’S CONGRATULATIONS TRIBUTES FROM THE PRESS By Telegraph—Prese Assn.—Copyright Rec. 11.45 p.m. London, May fl. The entire British Press acknowledges the twentieth anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne with glow-tig editorial comment and photographs. They print many outstanding events of the reign. Although there will be no special celebrations the event will be marked with the usual salvos of 21 guns at Hyde Park, Windsor and other stations. The King is looking extremely well and has returned to London from Windsor. The Court will remain at Buckingham Palace. Messages of congratulations have been received from all over the world. The Daily Chronicle publishes a series of messages from M. Poincare, M. Wakatsuki, the Aga Khan, Al. Painleve and General Berengeur among others. RECOGNITION AT SYDNEY. SALUTE FIRED IN HARBOUR. Rec. 9.3 p.m. Sydney, May 6. Australian cruisers lying in Sydney harbour were drCSsed to-day in honour of the King’s twentieth year on the throne, and a salute of 21 guns was fired.
