MOTOR-CAR IN MID-AIR. LANDS ON FOUR WHEELS. Marton, May 5. While endeavouring to save her child from falling out of a motor-car the door of which by some means had swung open, Mrs. S. McJarrow, of Tutaenui, Marton, had a narrow escape from death. '. Mrs. McJarrow was returning home from town in a three-seater car late on Saturday afternoon accompanied by her small son, aged three years. By some means the door swung open and in endeavouring to save the child from falling out Mrs. McJarrow lost control of the car, which careered up a bank and somersaulted twice in mid-air and came down to rest on its wheels on the road; s ■ . ’ ■ Fortunately the child was thrown clear before the car overturned, but Mrs. McJarrow went with the car.
