The Progress, which left for Port Waikato, will proceed to Wellington and Dunedin, where she loads on May 12 via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for New Plymouth and Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.) The Kaimiro, from Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday morning and left at 4 p.m. for Westport. (U.S.S. Co.) The Totara loaded at Lyttelton for Wellington, l.nd New Plymouth, being due at New Plymouth to-day;. Later she visits Nelson, Motueka and Lyttelton. The Kamona, with 700 tons of railway coal, was to leave Greymouth on Monday, proceeding to New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow. She sails later for Napier. (U.S.S. Co.) The Himatangi, from Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui, is due at New Plymouth on Saturday. (Hooker Bros.) The John left Timaru on Friday via Lyttelton and Wellington for New'Plymouth, where she arrived with 200 tons last night. Thence she proceeds to Port .Waikato. (Hooker. Bros.) (Northern Steamship, Co.) —.—- KAIRANGA WITH COAST CARGO. The Union Company’s steamer Kairanga, with 600 tons of general cargo, is due at. New Plymouth this morning from Wanganui to discharge. CUNARD LINE THIRD-CLASS. The Cunard Line, which carried over 40,000 tourist third-class cabin passengers last year, has announced its intention of extending its facilities for travellers who cross the Atlantic in this manner. It has been decided that the entire range of accommodation formerly used by second-class passengers in the Cunard liners Franconia and Carinthia shall be devoted to this class of passenger The Franconia and the Carinthia are the new newest, Cunard liners. At present the Franconia is making a cruise round the world, and the Carinthia is cruising in the Mediterranean, but on their return for the Atlantic summer season they will maintain sailings between Liverpool and New York and Boston, with calls at either Queenstown Or Belfast. PACIFIC COAST CARGO. The O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud is reported to have cleared Los Angeles on May 1 with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on May 27, and at Wellington about a week later, HERTFORD COMPLETING. Loading to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company the Hertford left Wellington last night for Napier and Auckland to fill up. She is to clear the northern port on Saturday for London, Hamburg, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow via the Panama Canal. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
