INTERESTS OF ATHLETICS
PROPOSAL FOR CONFERENCE. By Telegraoh—Press Association Masterton, Last Night. That it be a recommendation to the sub-centrea in the Wellington and Hawke’s .Bay provinces to hold a conference of delegates at Pahiatua on August 12, each sub-centre to prepare remits and that a proper agenda paper be drawn up, to be approved by the sub-centres, in order to discuss all matters appertaining to the improvement of amateur athletics generally and better working between the sub-centres and the parent body, three delegates from the Wellington Centre to be invited to attend. This was a motion carried tonight at a special meeting of the Wairarapa sub-centre of the Amateur Athletic Association.
