Garden and Donald Grant are among those selected.- The ballots generally resulted in a victory for the extrepiist faction. . J Mr. Tyrell, Legislative Councillor, made a spirited pica to the'executive to drop Mr. Garden, in view' of the effect it would have upon the electors, as his selection would handicap the Labour chances of ruling at the City Hall.
