ATTITUDE OF CONSERVATIVES.
British Wireless. Rugby, May I. The House of Ixnds agreed to the second reading of the Coal Mines Bill without a division. The Conservatives, however, Intimated their intention of amending the Bill in the committee stage. Lord Thomson said the Government would have to take a very firm stand in the committee stage. The’ Bill was "ft measure of national ■ importance, and it was introduced to help the. coal industry.
