NEGRO LYNCHED BY MOB
RESCUING SHERIFF INJURED.

Vancouver, April 25.
At Valhalla, South Carolina, Allen Green, a negro, aged 60, was taken from prison and lynched by the mob, who suspected him of attacking a white woman.
Sheriff Thomas, who attempted a rescue, was sb roughly treated that he was taken to hospital with a fractured skull.
