TO RELIEVE UNEMPLOYMENT
N.S.W. CABINET APPOINTS BOARD.

Bee. 5.5 p.m. Sydney, April 27. The State Government has decided to appoint an unemployment relief board. Its functions will include spending £3,000,000 to be raised by a special wage levy in all possible work for unemployed and formulating a scheme for the prevention of further dismissals. The constitution of the board will not be divulged till it has been ratified by the Nationalist Party before the House reassembles.
