Wellington, Last Night. _ ■ The weather will be cloudy .and unsettled with rain developing in most districts and some heavy falls on the west coast of the South Island. Temperatures will be mild but will become cooler to-morrow. Winds will be moderate to strong northerlies, reaching gale force at places from Cook Strait southwards and backing to westerlies and later to south-westerlies. Seas will be rough on the west coast and off-shore south of Castlepoint and moderate north of Castlepoint.
