EXTENSIONS OF RAILWAY
AUCKLAND DOUBLE TRACK READY
By Telegraph.—Press Association.
Auckland, April 2.6
It is expected that the double tracks on the Westfield railway deviation will be used for goods traffic on May 4. This will practically eliminate goods traffic on the existing Parnell route. Passenger traffic on the new route will begin when the new railway station is open.
