PROGRESS IN THE ERECTION OF WELLINGTON CITIZENS’ WAR MEMORIAL—Though it had been hoped by many that the Wellington citizens’ war memorial might be completed for this Anzac Day, this has been found impossible. Good progress, however, has been made, and it is hoped that the memorial will be completed in readiness for next Armistice Day.
