PAINTING COMPETITION

Good morning Tinks! I wonder how many of you have walked into a room and seen so many wonderful cakes on a table to choose from that you did not know which were the best. Well, that is exactly how I felt when I spread all the paintings on the table and tried to find the best. I studied and pondered, pondered and studied, and at last, came to these decisions. Senior: Nita Porter, Tariki, Magnus Forbes, Stratford; Jeanne Thomas, Matapu.

Junior: Joan Luker, Waikonaiti; Avis Forbes, Stratford; Alex Cox, Hawera. Now all together, Tinks, Three hearty cheers for the winners! “Hip, hip, hurray! ”•—Wendy.
