POSTAL PACKET DETAINED
METHVEN LABOURER’S GUILT.

Ashburton, April 23.
At the Police Court Alexander Hazlett, labourer, Methven, was committed for sentence on a charge of detaining a postal packet addressed to a man of tho same name at Christchurch. The charge of theft of £3 from the letter was dismissed.
