HONOURS FROM THE KING
INVESTITURE AT WELLINGTON

Wellington, Last Night.
The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, held an investiture at Government House, Wellington, to-night at which he conferred the honour of knighthood upon the Hon. Sir Michael Myers, investing him with the insignia of a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George, and presented to the Hon. Sir Thomas Sidey the Royal letters patent conferring upon him the degree, title and dignity of a Knight Bachelor. His Excellency, also presented the insignia of Companion of the Order of St. Michael and St. George to Mr. E. W. Kane and Mr. Robert Parker.
The investiture was followed by a reception at which a large number of guests were presented to Their Excellencies.
