CIRCUS ARTIST KILLED
ACROBAT BREAKS HIS BACK, By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rcc. 9.5 p.m. New York, March 31. Hans Jahn, aged 35, a German performer, -was killed in a circus when he lost his balance and fell from the top of a 40ft. pole held on the shoulder of his brother, Karl, who,, seeing his brother start to fall, leaped forward and threw himself on the ground as a cushion for Hans. The latter’s back was broken, and he died instantly.
