AIRMEN’S HIGHEST HONOUR
A POSTHUMOUS AWARD. By Telegraph—'Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. London, Feb. 5. The Duke of York, in a speech at the Aero Club’s dinner, announced that the club had posthumously awarded its highest honour, namely, a gold medal, to Squadron-Leader Jones-Williams and Flight-Lieutenant Jenkins, who were killed on December 17 in an attempt to make a non-stop flight to Africa.
