A BIG UNDERTAKING.—Concrete wall now being built in Church Street, Wellington, between Boulcott street and The Terrace. It was the scene of a bad slip last winter, and has been giving considerable anxiety during periods of heavy rain.
QUEEN OF SWEDEN reported in the cable news as being seriously ill.
MR. G. D. F. GOODWIN, the first man to secure his flying ticket from Rongotai aerodrome. Awarded him on Saturday morning.
MISS ISOBEL MORRISON, the young Canterbury tennis player, who won the New Zealand junior championship singles and the girls’ and junior mixed doubles.
