THE ARRANGEMENTS FINALISED. WESTERN PARK THE VENUE. Tho Taranaki Boxing Association is now able to announce definitely. that arrangements have been finalised for Tommy Donovan and Pete Sarron to meet at New Plymouth on Saturday afternoon, February 15, the difficulties that were previously holding up the agreement having been overcome as the outcome of a conference with Mr. Earl Stewart, representing the Wellington Association, under whose auspices Sarron was brought from Australia. Tho meeting' of these noted exponents of the art has been looked forward to with eager interest by enthusiasts throughout the Dominion. In order to cope with the large attendance anticipated, and to enable as many as possible to view the contest, •t has been decided to stage the bout in Western Park. Special seating arrangements are being made to accommodate the huge crowd expected, and the box plan will be opened in a day or two.
