CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

ITINERARY FOR THE TRIP. An itinerary for the trip of- the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce to Oliura, Taumarunui and Te Kuiti has been arranged The party will leave on Tuesday, February 11, and will arrive back on the Friday. i Leaving New Plymouth at 8.30 o’clock in tho morning the members of the chamber will reach Whangamomona by lunch-time. Members will then proceed to Tangarakau, visiting th© Egmont Collieries en route. They will leave the collieries at 4.30 p.m. for Ohura, where the evening will be spent. At 9 a.m. on trie Wednesday the party will leave Ohura for Taumarunui where tho second night will be spent. The next day they will proceed to Te Kuiti. After stopping in Te Kuiti for the night of Thursday the members will proceed to Aria, where they will lynch. They will then leave for Naw Plymouth, arriving home on the Friday evening. The Taumarunui Chamber of Commerce has advised the secretary of the New Plymouth Chamber (Mr. Vai Duff) that the party would arrive on Wednesday, the Taumarunui halt-holiday. As they wished the visitors to see Taumarunui when, the town was busy, they asked the Taranaki Chamber to come on the Thursday or Friday. This would nof> suit the Taranaki members, however, as they wished to be back in New Plymouth on the Friday. The Taumarunui chamber has been advised accordingly.
